David Shoesmith celebrated his retirement yesterday (October 17, 2019).
Dave technically joined Surface Science Western as our Director in 2011, however he was an integral part of the lab for many years and was of crucial importance to the success of the lab. His hard work, dedication and understanding as well as his wealth of knowledge in the areas of electrochemistry and corrosion will be greatly missed.
Thank you for all that you’ve done to bring us to a pivotal point of becoming a state-of-the-art science laboratory!
